Catching up

Ok, so it's been a long time since I've updated my blog and there have been some changes. Alex and I moved to Utah. We're living in West Jordan and we both LOVE the cooler weather. Alex is working for a company called Priority Dispatch. They create all the protocol for emergency personel. He was just hired on permanently which is totally awesome for us!

Back in April we found out that we were having a baby. A couple of weeks ago, we found out it was a boy. It will be the first boy on my side of the family and the first grandchild for Alex's side. Alex has a great grandmother who is still alive that I'm hoping will still be around when the baby comes, I think it would be really awesome to get a picture with 5 generations. It's not every day you get the opportunity to see a picture with your great great grandmother and you in it. We've decided that the baby's name is going to be Eric Robert but there's some debate on how we'll spell Eric. I like it with the C, Alex wants to spell it Erick. Since it is after his cousin who passed away when he was young, we will look to his aunt to find out how she spelled it. I'm due December 15th and hopefully don't end up having him right before Christmas.

Cindy welcomed her second daughter into the world the end of July. Her name is Julie Christine. She's a cute, fat little baby. I can't believe how time flies, it seems not that long ago we were roommates and living our single lives. Now, here we are married she has 2 kids and I have 1 one the way.

This past weekend Trevor got married. I can't believe he married now but I am completely happy for him. Kate is amazing and I love that she can put Trevor in check! Not many people can do that. They had an outdoor reception in Vegas and it was beautiful. I'm glad Alex and I were able to be there.

It's been about 3 weeks since Paul entered the MTC. He's going to "little dog" Mexico. I hear he's doing well but have yet to hear from him. I'm planning on making him some brownies and getting him some blue colored gatorade and having it delivered to him. That is the awesome part to living in Utah, same day delivery to the MTC. My parents now have an empty house. It's crazy to think that we're all grown up and doing our thing. Life is good, full of ups and downs but it's all worth it.
